Illiteratty is coming soon to a town near you…very near, in fact.

Illiteratty is five great musicians united by an eclectic repertoire of original songs and instrumentals mostly written by band member Earle Peach.  With guitar, mandolin, violin, keyboard, bass and up to four part harmony they perform a beguiling mix of celtic, pop, folk, jazz, rockabilly, baroque, cabaret and just about everything else, all informed by unusual subjects (no soppy lovesongs here), a quirky sensibility and, of course, intelligence.

On August 7th Illiteratty will perform at the house of Comox resident Heather Ramsay.  This will be a potluck dinner concert; after a set of music beginning at around 5:30, concertgoers will share a collective dinner, followed by a second set around 7:30.  Tickets to this unique show will be $15 at the door, and you’re requested to RSVP Heather Ramsay at farmer_ramsay@hotmail.com.
